Storage Corner Group Acquires Orem Self-Storage Property

MARCH 2026 --- Storage Corner Group, a Bay Area–based regional self-storage investor and operator, has acquired an existing Class A, self-storage property located at 1641 W 1200 N in Orem, Utah, formerly known as Towne Storage – Vineyard, in an off-market transaction.

The transaction marks Storage Corner Group's 25th acquisition overall and its latest addition to its infill, Utah portfolio, which now spans in excess of 230,000 net rentable square feet across the Provo-Orem MSA. The property has been rebranded as Storage Corner Vineyard and has transitioned to Storage Corner Group's in-house property management platform. The facility comprises approximately 86,500 net rentable square feet across more than 550 units and was originally constructed in 2019.

Consistent with Storage Corner Group's core investment strategy, the property will be executed as a value-add opportunity. SCG's business plan focuses on optimizing the asset and leveraging economies of scale across its existing local portfolio, which includes Storage Corner Pleasant Grove and two additional Orem locations.

The transaction was financed with long-term seller-carry financing negotiated directly with the original owner-developers, reflecting Storage Corner Group's long-standing relationship with the sellers and its ability to create bespoke deal structures. Storage Corner Group was exclusively represented as buyer by Jordan Farrer of Marcus & Millichap.

In the last twelve months, Storage Corner Group also completed self-storage acquisitions in Pacifica, California; Half Moon Bay, California; as well as a light-industrial acquisition in Redwood City, California.

Storage Corner Group's portfolio now spans 25 locations totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet of self-storage and small-bay light-industrial properties across California, Utah, and Idaho.
