JUNE 2025 -- Storage Corner Group, a Bay Area based regional self-storage investor and operator, recently acquired an existing self-storage property located at 110, 151 and 171 Stanford Ave. and 230 and 238 Yale Ave. in the Princeton-by-the-Sea area of Half Moon Bay, California. The property represents Storage Corner Group's twenty-third successful acquisition and seventh acquisition in the Bay Area MSA. Storage Corner Group, as Buyer, was represented by Jacob Becher of Colliers in the transaction. The property, rebranded as "Storage Corner Half Moon Bay," is currently operated by StoragePro Management and contains approximately 37,000 rentable square feet, spanning 277 units. Aligning with Storage Corner Group's core investment thesis, the property has a value-add business plan and will undergo a significant renovation to improve its competitive market positioning. The property is located approximately 15-20 minutes south of Storage Corner Group's Pacifica location and this transaction further bolsters Storage Corner Group's economies of scale in the greater Bay Area, which now span over 360,000 square feet.
This year Storage Corner Group also executed a light-industrial transaction in Redwood City, CA (San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula), a self-storage transaction in Sonoma, CA (North San Francisco Bay Area) with Harvest Properties, and is working to complete several others across the Mountain West. Storage Corner Group's current portfolio spans 23 locations and exceeds 1,135,000 square feet of self-storage and small-bay light-industrial properties, across California, Utah and Idaho.
